Tapping Blogs for Online Campaigns [VIDEO]: An interview by Janette Toral

It's been a while since I posted on this blog. But I'm happy to say, I'm back!

Let me begin with this video of Janette Toral interviewing me for DigitalFilipino.com.

I don't like seeing myself on video, but I'd like to think I'm comfortable enough being in front of the camera... well maybe not yet as comfortable as I should look on cam.

Thanks, Janette, for the opportunity.

  1. Google defines the basic formula for search results. It is dynamic since the Google gods regularly tweak it one way or the other. BUT, the factors that affect the results don't really change much.

    1. Popularity
    2. Design
    3. Content

Bloggers help in increasing link popularity that creates a finer mesh for the "key word", product or brand. If more people talk about the brand the heavier its weight in the formula. Bloggers with more subscribers and online traffic weigh in heavily because they have already established their mesh on the Net.

Bottom line, brands will have to continue to provide a good customer experience. Targetting these elite consumers who influence or even define popular opinion becomes a key objective in this age of Facebook.

p.s. Posture too stiff. Keep away from the word "again". Overall, good job Law.

  3. @Ari, yeah I hate watching myself since I see all my unconscious quirks and habits.
As for search, it's changing so rapidly and it's predicted that Google will have a comeback in 2011, them being able to already tap into social connections on Facebook & Twitter.
